We just popped down the the launch of Bobbi Brown's new line for Autumn 2011: the Marrakesh Chic Collection.
Inspired by a trip Bobbi made to Morocco, the collection features eight shades of creamy-feeling powder eyeshdows in dusty pink, purple and brown tones which are designed to be pressed into the eyelid - they're also said to stay put for up to 12 hours, which means the muted tones will be perfect for work.
There's also five new shades of lipstick in four different formulas: plain matte Lip Color in Desert Plum, Metallic Lip Color in Violet Glaze (which looks quite purple in the tube but is much less scary on), Rich Lip Color SPF12 in Desert Rose and two shades of Creamy Lip Colour in Pale Plum and Pink Blossom.
Really excitingly, the brand also introduced their first ever mineral foundation - Skin Foundation Mineral Makeup. Lightweight with a sheer, silky finish, it comes in eight shades and contains Sodium Hyalurant, a 'moisture magnet' which keeps it from looking dry and exaggerating flaws (which I've found can be an issue with some mineral foundations). It definitely had a your-face-but-better effect on the model wearing it.
Check out some images from the launch earlier after the cut, as well as product shots and the lovely model showing you how to wear the collection! The products should be availible to buy at BobbiBrown.co.uk today.
