Britney Spears is still on her Femme Fatale world tour and Allure caught up with her tour makeup artist and hairstylist Marco Berardini to talk about her look for the shows.
"I really wanted to play up the idea of femme fatale," he said of his inspiration for the look. "When I think of femme fatale, I think of European actresses like Brigitte Bardot. It's the epitome of a strong woman. I wanted to bring out that strength and sexiness for all the girls on tour."
Maco also revealed that he designs her hair to complement whatever city they happen to be in that night! "We change her hair every show," he explained. "I try to feel the vibe of the city we're in. I think New York brought out the Sarah Jessica Parker in all of us. I was sitting on a park bench and watching the girls walk by with their layered wavy hair and I just thought, that's so New York."
