Every week we hear about a new miracle cellulite cure, but they often fail to live up the hype. The Cavislim is the latest product on the market to say they target those stubborn ugly patches-but does it actually work?

Their premise is 'cavitation', which translates as using ultrasound technology to help break up the fat deposits. They say that the Cavislim uses a low frequency ultrasound that is conducted through the skin to break up fatty tissue into a liquid substance, which you then expel through the body. A lot of salons offer similar things, and this sounds like a home version of this.

As salons tend to have variable effects with treatment- in my experience it's great whilst your doing it, but if you stop the lumps return- having a home system would be an easier way to maintain, You're advised to use it for 30 minutes twice a week which is feasible with your everyday life and you can use it all over- thighs, stomach, knees...

They also say it's pain free, so all you'll feel is a light vibration which I think I could handle.

The big question though- how good is it? I'll be testing it and get back to you soon.
