We had a great response to our post the other day about the most expensive beauty products you guys have become dependent on, even though the price makes you wince - I'm happy to know I'm in such great company whenever I feel guilty about heading back to the YSL counter.
We thought we'd do a recap of some of the comments you guys left, so you can see which products are worth shelling out for (even if you might regret it afterwards): some of you had an entire list of things you feel bad about buying! We also asked some of our editors for theirs. Maybe we should all start buying in bulk, that way we'd only have to pay a million pounds once and then we could try and forget it ever happened...
"Oooh, for me it has to be NARS The Multiple. I LOVE it, it lasts for ages, but I'm still so sad when I get to the end. Sigh." Jess, Editorial Director
"Skincare is definitely my indulgence item. Particularly Clinique Even Better Skin Corrector which isn't even that expensive ($50), but I'm used to drug store prices! I also have to have my Chanel black eyeliner!" Andrea, Aigua US Editor
"My guilty little secret would have to be Shu Uemura UV underbase mousse. Slap that foundation/powder/blusher/anything on over this base in the morning and it will still be smiling at you in the mirror when you get home!" Sarah Brown
"My fave has to be Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish and as well as their Superskin Moisturiser. It gets my skin feeling smooth and soft like no other!" Kate, Shopping Editor
"I love my Lancome Star Bronzer. Ive tried the cheaper versions, but just knowing its lancome makes me feel comforted, and that the overall effect is better. I cant be without it, and have to stock up at this time of year as they often take it off the shelves in Winter. I also have to have my Chanel foundation! Couldnt have any other brand." Susie
"Absolutely has to be my Elemis SOS cream, when life has given your skin a beating you just put a tiny bit on (its expensive but goes a long way) and your skin feels absolutely pampered. Smells amazing too." Bernadine
"Laura Mercier primer, expensive but worth it-i've never found anything that even compares!" Kelly
"Moroccanoil. I know I can just use serum and / or pure argan oil which is cheaper...but I just love the smell and the texture. And my hair does look better with it on, there's no denying it." Gemma
