KMS California is an in salon brand of haircare products that have been around 35 years! Whilst we're suoer happy they're excited over that (and we do love their slick new packaging) it's the new products they've launched that have me excited, and I'm head over heels infatuated with the Freeshape range.
It comprises of two new products, the Freeshape Quick Blow Dry (which I'll tell you all about) and the Freehape hot Flex spray, which is great for using with heated appliances to keep the hair protected.
Now, here's the lowdown on my fave product- the KMS California FREESHAPE quick blow dry. It comes in a clear bottle and the pink solution is separated into two parts, so you need to shake it up to make them blend together. It needs to be used after shampooing and conditioning, and I like that I don't have to change my routine at all- I just add this as I'm about to blow dry.
They say it 'Speeds up drying time by up to 50% while protecting against heat damage', and whilst I couldn't give you an exact percentage number, I know that my usual forty minutes was much shorter- around 25 minutes to get my hair bone dry. I love the fact that it's such a simple but such a useful product, and time saved blowdrying is more time blogging/painting nails/failing at Portal 2.
I can't say if my hair felt more protected as I always use a protecting heat spray, but it felt equally protected, which is good enough. I really can't stress enough how nice it is to cut short blowdry time as I HATE this, and have often gone to bed with wet hair rather than waste time blow drying.
