Even if you haven't been into Lush before, you've almost definitely smelt it - the delicious combined scent of all their products can be found at least 10 feet from their stores.
Probably one of the most famous ethical beauty brands in the world, Lush believe in ethically sourcing their ingredients, not testing on animals and using as little preservatives as possible. Their packaging is pretty simple too, because they try and use as little as they can to minimize their effect on the environment.
So which products do we like? Their bath products are classics: I love the MMM Melting Marshmallow Moment bath melts (£3.60/100g), the French Kiss bubble bars (£3.95/100g - so pretty) and the Sunny Side bubble bars (£3.40/100g), which turn your bathwater gold and sparkly (!), and leaves you smelling of orange, tangerine and lemon.
Lush also make some of the best shower gels I've ever tried: a tiny squeeze will get you all the lather you need and then some, and the fragrance hits you the moment you open the bottle - we love their newest addition, the butterscotch-y, honey-scented It's Raining Men (from £4.25), originally a Valentine¹s limited edition product but loved by customers so much it's earned a place on the permanent range. As for facemasks, our favourite is the chocolate scented Cupcake, great for calming oily, break out prone skin. Lush have also recently released a limited edition fragrance - LOVE by the Gorilla Perfumers (£30.00 for 30ml / £14.00 for 10ml / £7.00 for 12g solid), with notes of lemon, lemongrass, bergamot, apple, cinnamon, cassia, jasmine, rose - lively, fesh and spicy, it's basically 'awake' in a scent (but only avaliable til mid-Sept).
If you can, definitely head into a store instead of buying online: one of Lush's greatest assets is the passion of their amazing staff, who are more then happy to listen to what you're after and give you some advice.
