Balance Me are a natural skincare brand who already have a roster of celebrity fans (our girl crush Nicole Richie being one of them). One of their most popular product ranges is the Super Toning range, which includes a Body Wash, Body Cream and Body Oil, all formulated using bergamot, geranium and juniper, which aim to take care of areas prone to cellulite.
I tested the body oil (£20 here) - with macadamia, sweet almond and wheat germ oils in addition to the ingredients mentioned above, which Balance Me say contain fatty acids and vitamins to give you an all over glow, and restore tone and suppleness to the skin.
Firstly - it smells delicious, enveloping you in a beautifully subtle lavender scent that gives a real aromatherapy experience as you apply it. I was worried about the time it would take to sink into my skin, but I shouldn't have - it soaked up in no time, although it took a little longer on my legs. Afterwards I did notice an improvement in the tone and brightness of my skin - I definitely had a glow that I didn't have pre-oil. And my skin was hella soft, even the sometimes troublesome knees and elbow areas.
I haven't been using it long enough to say whether it's had a firming effect, but I'll continue and give you an update at some point!
Also on their website just now I noticed that they're doing a competition with Waitrose (who have just started stocking them) to win a weekly shop! Obviously I entered that.
