What's your beauty indulgence?

Today readers, my YSL Touche Eclat ran out.

It's a moment I always dread, when the exciting little click that distributes that amazing highlighting fluid turns into a dull thud of nothing.

I dread it because I hate buying it - I love it, and it will have its place in my makeup bag forever, but I feel awful shelling out £24 for a product you can get a million dupes of for so much less money...

But I'm going to buy it anyway.

It got us thinking - every girl (or guy) must have that one product, right? The one that you hate yourself a little bit for buying, and maybe skip the details of just how much you paid for it to your other half/mother, but still buy anyway.

I can't live without my Benefit Hello Flawless pressed powder.. Nothing makes my skin feel so smooth and light while offering such good cover! Also.. I'm coming to the end of my Armani Bronzer... Don't know how I'll cope without it, might just have to splurge on another...

Kate Somerville Goat Milk Cream. I am a red headed Irish girl and sometimes my skin gets a little red and irritated. This milk infused cream brings it back to clear, smooth, make up ready skin.

Darlings, what can a girl do but layer on her perfume - but it's screamingly expensive to do it this way so it's just for high days and holidays and is a guilty secret. It has to be Aromatics by Clinique which has been my favourite winter perfume for years. Starts with a luxurious Aromatics Shower cream, then it's Aromatics deoderant, followed by the Aromatics luxurious body creme which is rich and fabulously scented, then it's a walk through an Aromatics perfume shower leaving the bedroom smelling as gorgeous as you do. Total cost - too much to think about.

Moroccanoil. I know I can just use serum and / or pure argan oil which is cheaper...but I just love the smell and the texture. And my hair does look better with it on, there's no denying it.

While we're talking hair products - Bumble & Bumble Does It All. It does it all. Hence the name. Unfortunately, it's also waaaay expensive, it runs out stupid-quick and it's almost impossible to find in shops. So, when I get near running-out point, panic starts setting in!

Perfume-wise, if I ran out of Frederic Malle Vetiver Extraordinaire I would die. Okay, it's actually happened several times but I was resurrected by wallet-crushing shopping expeditions.

Oh, and Tom Ford Private Blend perfumes. Only available (as far as I've seen) at one terminal at Heathrow. Makes holidays very expensive. But I smell nice on the beach.
