You might think black eyeliner is black eyeliner, and it's not as important for it to be amazing as say, foundation might be - but as a makeup bag staple, that most of you wear every day, we think it's important to get a good one.
So what's good in a black eyeliner? It's got to be long-wearing (you don't want to be re-applying all day), non-flaky or runny (the panda eye look doesn't even work on Taylor Momsen), smudgable for the days you're feeling a bit Kate Moss and sharp and easy to control enough for when you're feeling more Dita von Tease.
