Diego Dalla Palma is well known in Italy, where it has the 'Mac of Italy' moniker and we're now going to get out happy UK hands on it. It's launching on our shores (yay!) and people can now try out this exciting range. Comprised of a variety of blushes, foundations, mascara and nail varnishes it literally covers every makeup need you'll ever have and is luxuriously packaged.
Products come with lovely matte black accents, and the attention to detail is amazing. Everything has had a lot of though and care put into it, from makeup brushes that come with extra heads (great when you're changing colours) to carefully making sure the mascara lids are extra grippy so you don't drop them when you take them off.
There are many things to love about their products but a few items really stand out and get my fingers itching to try them. A jewel in their crown is the famous Diego Dalla Palma Semi Permanent Mascara (£16) which actually tints the lashes after use. The idea is to use this mascara for five days in a row (removing each night with your usual eye makeup remover) and during this time the mascara naturally TINTS your lashes with a black dye that lasts around 15 days- so DARKER lashes with no dyeing or effort- great for a natural morning after look, eh?
I'm also in love with their Spray On Tights product (£19.50) which works as daily fake tan for the legs, and is a flattering tone that they say is universal. I loved how it provided a non orange shade that looked subtle rather than TOWIE bright and they've mixed tiny particles of silk with foundation to create a really soft to touch non budge effect, that can be removed with soap.
Here's a sneaky look at the Autumn collection- as you can see they've gone with a neutral palette, which includes three lovely nails shades (dove grey, mocha and powder pink) as well as Vitamin E enriched lip glosses and cool Duo Eyeshadows with flattering brown shades. I love that they look at correction as well as improving as they have a Corrective Eyeshadow to balance out redness (£15) and an exciting Perfect Eye Base (£15) to help your eyeshadow stay in place.
