Bath and body sets are always going to be a go-to gifting item, but they're so ubiquitous it can be hard to find one that will seem special and unique. Enter Molton Brown and their Holiday 2011 Limited Edition Bath and Body Sets. Anything "limited edition" seems a little extra special, and spending that extra cash on a luxury item instead of a mass retailer is a nice touch.

I tried the Kaleidoscope Body Wash Gift Set, $48 and this was actually my first experience with Molton Brown bath products.
As you can see above, the packaging is very pretty and it comes in a box that could easily be reused for storing something else once you've used up the bath wash. This is also a great sampler to try out different scents, the ones included are: relaxing yuan zhi, inspiring wild-indigo, ultrasmooth coco de mer, paradisiac pink pepperpod, blissful templetree and heavenly gingerlily. I tried inspiring wild-indigo and it had a pleasant scent and lathered very nicely. Based on my very scientific "smell the bottle" test, I think the ultrasmooth coco de mer may be my favorite fragrance. But they're all really, really lovely. I had a tough time deciding.
Be aware that these are pretty heavily perfumed and your skin does stay scented after washing, it's not just something you smell in the shower. A lot of people are looking for a product like that, but some are not, and this gift set would not be for them. Otherwise I was very please to receive this set to try, and I think anyone else would be, too!
