I got a press release earlier about the opening of a new M∙A∙C store in Spitalfields, and I had to show you because it looks so cool!
To fit in with the East London/Shoreditch crowd they were always going to have to go with some interesting decor (easy for one of beauty's most innovative brand), to entice the Hoxton types in - they went with these black and white graffiti emblazoned walls, all in different fonts and styles to appeal to the art crowd (maybe we'll be seeing the cast of The Only Way Is Dalston discussing their love lives - hopefully in a less dead-eyed way then in Made In Chelsea - while perusing lipstick from the brand's newest collaborations!).
The new east London site also means that M∙A∙C are now in a great position for all of the beauty enthusiasts coming over to London for the Olympics next year - good move - who will be able to visit the lash bar (opening in 2012), where they'll teach customers how to choose and apply the perfect lashes. Oh and they're also offering an Express Makeup Application service in the run up to Christmas, for those straight-after-work parties.
