dakota fanning mj oh lola ad.jpgRemember how Dakota Fanning's adverts for Marc Jacobs' Oh, Lola perfume came under fire for being too provocative? Well we thought that had all blown over, but the ASA have just banned it, calling it 'irresponsible'.

The images show Dakota as a Lolita-esque figure (the inspiration for the fragrance) in childlike clothing and holding the bottle in her lap, which the ASA considered "sexually provocative,"

"We therefore concluded that the ad was irresponsible and was likely to cause serious offence," the ASA said.

Whether it's wrong or right though, banning anything normally only serves to make sure every person with internet access sees it, so this will probably work in Marc Jacobs' favour anyway!
