The models walking the catwalk for Chanel's pre-Fall Paris-Bombay show last week showed off some exceptionally beautiful skin to go with their Indian/rock n roll inspired eye makeup - and it was all down to Chanel Perfection Lumière foundation!
Lumière, as you're probably aware, means light in French (everyone learnt that from Beauty and the Beast right?) and this is apparently how this foundation works, reflecting light with its Perfect Light Control Complex, which contains two types of hemispherical powders: one to create a blurred effect and the other to provide lumiosity. These factors together apparently help to increase skin radiance, and hide redness, dark spots and uneven skin tone.
The semi-matte formula also holds Chanel's secret ingredient, the Perfect Skin Affinity Complex, a 'flexible and adhesive biopolymer that ideally takes the form of the skin and adapts to its every movement', plus it claims to have 15 hours straight wear in it. Sounds like a wonder product if I ever heard of one!
With 23 shades in the range, Perfection Lumière Long-Wear Flawless Fluid SPF 10 is also Chanel's widest range of foundation colours yet, going from 10 Beige to 154 Ambré. Not long to wait now till you can get it either - it'll will be in stores from January 13 priced at £36.
