Today sees the launch of Gareth Pugh's MAC collection (which we told you about way back in July and than showed you a sneak peek of in October)!
Stand out products from the line includes the geometric, triangle-shaped Flight lashes, the Metal X Cream Shadow which comes in two colours (Ardent is my favourite), and the Nail Lacquer in three colours - plus the products are all square-shaped and embossed with what looks a little like the X-Men logo.
Speaking to Vogue about the collection, Gareth explained that he based it on the same principle of combining opposites that he follows with his designs, like pairing black and white.
He explained, "One light and ethereal, based on silver and grey tones and the other is dark blue colours, which has a more powerful message - I really like the idea of exploring the hard side of beauty."
The move into beauty isn't that much of a departure for Gareth, who is close friends with Alex Box, the makeup artist who works on all of his shows - and if you know his fashion collections you know he's all about the theatricality and makeup certainly plays into that.
"I have always really enjoyed being involved in the beauty side of things," he said. "Before a show, I will speak with Alex so that we can come up with the right look to suit the collection. It is integral to the overall message of my show".
