Did you leave your Christmas shopping until the last minute? Yeah, me too. But there are a few more shopping day until the big day, and there are plenty of good last minute gifts to be found if you know where to look.

When it comes to beauty gifts, Boots is, of course, your last-minute savior, with its famous 3-for-2 on all gifts (look out for the green present stickers) and lots of gift sets for all ages and tastes. It's not all bubble bath and loofahs, either. Look out for good value gift sets from salon haircare brands, stuff that comes in packaging that's as pretty as the products, and sets that offer really good value for money compared to buying the products separately.

Here are some of the gift sets that get the Kiss and Makeup seal of approval this Christmas...

Frontcover Blue Eyed Girl Cosmetics Kit £12

Frontcover's makeup artist extraordinaire Leanne did a look on me with this kit at an event a while ago, and despite never wearing blue normally (I'm a green-eyed blonde) she absolutely convinced me it could work and I've worn bold cobalt liner a few times since. The star of this kit is shadowline, which turns any powder shadow into a liner (and self-cleans itself like magic when you've finished using it). Use it with the shadows included to get extra wear out of all the colours. The dark blue is a great alternative to black.

Ted Baker The Look Book of Love £16

This kit is the one that got the whole office oohing and ahhing. You get tree beautifully packaged 'books' of makeup, each one designed to give you a different look; day, night and party. This is worth a look for the novelty factor alone, but there are actually some lovely wearable colours in the kit and it's so neat and tidy you can't help but love it. Perfect for little sisters and student mates!

Trevor Sorbie Beautifully Straightened Collection £18

These are great quality hair products, all full sizes (worth over £5 each) which offer great value. The Beautifully Straight range is great at this time of year to keep hair looking smooth and frizz-free. But the best thing about this kit for me is the bag you get with it. It's really nice quality, a good size, lined with a pretty floral fabric and it has lots of pockets. I often find these cosmetics bags end up unused in a cupboard somewhere, but this one would definitely get used, it's a fab size for a weekend away.

Soap and Glory The Bright Stuff £35

This is a much more expensive gift, but as far as I'm concerned it's absolutely worth splashing out on (especially if you use the 3 for 2 or, shhhh, wait until after Christmas when Boots reduce everything). It contains two of my absolute favourite Soap & Glory products, Bright Here Bright Now (wonder juice for an even skintone) and Hocus Focus (amazing highlighting lotion), plus a tired eye moisture serum (brilliant for Christmas party animals) and Wish Upon A Jar, the much-hyped collagen cream. These are some of Soap & Glory's most expensive skincare products all in one kit and despite the £35 price tag, you're getting amazing value for money. Grab this if you know someone who could do with some skin-brightening tricks. I promise they won't be disappointed!
