Aston (aged 11) had a nail art competition at school today to judge the best Christmas nails.
First of all I felt jealous that we didn't have any competitions like that when I was at school, and then we wanted to help, so we gave her a WAH Nail's and Model's Own Nail Art Pen (get it here for £6) in white (we thought it would be good for drawing snow and other Christmassy things) and the festively glitzy No7 Stay Perfect nail polish in Milan (£7 from Boots) to help her win.
Aston decided to use Milan as a base coat, drawing over 'merry xmas!' with the pen. No news yet on whether she won, but definite party season inspiration, but she won Kiss and Makeup's Nails of the Week title anyway (which is obviously much better).
