Usually people start cutting off their hair as summer approaches, but this winter has has all the celebs taking to the scissors - last week we revealed Katy Perry's brand new blonde bob, which her BFF Rihanna followed suit with, filming her newest music video with a newly-platinum blonde blunt crop. Chloë Sevigny also went for the chop, cutting off her long blonde hair and dying it brown - and now Shakira (Shakira) has done the same!
We're used to seeing Shakira flicking about her wild long locks as she breaks out some incredible belly dancing moves, but there won't be any of that with the new, refined style that she tweeted yesterday.
It's a much more grown up look than we're used to seeing from her, isn't it? She looks almost unrecognisable (in fact someone just walked past me as I was editing the picture and asked me who it was and when I answered she was shocked readers, shocked.)
