If you haven't realised yet, we're really very excited about the upcoming Hunger Games movie and have been looking out for any beauty detail we can just so we can write about it. Luckily with the nail polish drama with China Glaze, it's been quite easy - and now we've got an advert!
Elizabeth Banks' Effie Trinket is currently serving as the face of the line - in the ad we see her in the look we'll be seeing in the film: pale pink hair with matching pink eye make up and lips (incidentally, just like the lips we saw at Prabal Gurang's SS12 show - possible trend alert?), plus Paperself eyelashes. Apparently the brief for the hair and make up of the Capitol citizens was to keep it "sophisticated, couture and edgy" - good job, well done, we say. What about you?
We are literally on the edge of our seats for more details of the styling from the film - and after what we've seen so far and all the effort put in (the colourists apparently created over 500 hair colours for the film's cast) we wouldn't be surprised to see an Oscar mention next year...
