emma_watson_lancome_advert_campaign_in_love.jpgWe showed you the leaked concept sketches of Emma Watson's next Lancôme campaign for their Rouge In Love collection - and it turns out the finished ads are actually nothing like them!

We like it though - shot by Mario Testino, the image is very youthful and cool, a perfect fit for the actress and the product, which is designed to help the younger generation transition from wearing lipgloss to lipstick - during research Lancôme discovered that younger customers found them heavy on lips and not long-lasting enough, so have given them a revamp.

"The idea is to make this young generation - that has been a gloss fan - come back to using lipsticks", said Youcef Nabi, president of Lancôme International. He described it as a "a thin film that's imperceptible and doesn't stick." Sounds interesting!

The lipstick line will be released in mid-February, consisting of three categories: Jolis Matins (beiges and pinks), Lipsticks in the Boudoir Time (featuring white and silver sparkles), and Tonight Is My Night (strong colours with gold sparkles). There'll also be a new nail polish range, the 24-shade strong Vernis in Love line. Definitely exciting stuff for Lancôme for 2012.
