Marc Jacobs is a great example of a designer who has managed to create a perfume line that perfectly reflects his brands style and concept, tying together the luxury of his main line with the youth of his Marc by Marc Jacobs diffusion line - in short, developing a collection of four accessible perfumes with something to suit everyone. We've summarized each of his floral creations below - which will you be buying?

The first ever scent from Marc Jacobs, Daisy was designed to evoke the concept of Marc's clothes, capturing the charm of Marc by Marc Jacobs with the "sophistication and elegance" of the main line.
The Bottle:
The bottle design for Marc's first fragrance echoed the idea between merging his high end and diffusion lines: designed by Wilhelm Liden, the rounded square glass bottle is feminine and simple with a luxurious feel, but the cute scattering of white rubber daisies on the cap adds a playful, retro twist.
The Scent:
Opening with wild strawberry, violet leaves and ruby red grapefruit, the perfume melts into a heart of gardenia, violet petals and jasmine petals before settling into a base of musk, vanilla infusion and white woods.

You're a fan of floral fragrances looking for an easy-to-wear daytime scent - Daisy has a youthful, fresh feel that is easy to wear and not overpowering.

The 'spirited' version of Marc Jacobs' original Daisy, Daisy Eau So Fresh was designed to reflect the Marc Jacobs woman; "bold, elegant, sweet and original".
The Bottle:
A reinterpretation of Wilhelm Liden's original bottle by Marc Jacobs, Daisy Eau So Fresh is a taller version with an even more whimsical feel - the white daisies change to pale pink, with some added pops of bright yellow.
The Scent:
Capturing the vintage flavour of Marc Jacobs' designs, Daisy Eau So Fresh is as sophisticated as Daisy, but a bit more lively, and packed with notes: the perfume opens with ruby red grapefruit, raspberry, green leaves and pear, developing into its heart notes of violet, wild rose, apple blossom, lychee, jasmine petals before finally settling into a musky plum and cedar wood scent.
Buy if:
You're looking for something more fruity than floral, with hints of sweetness - great for both daytime and evening wear.

Lola
Marc Jacobs' own personal design, Lola is a flirtatious, feminine and sexy scent - and our favourite bottle design.
The Bottle:
Marc personally designed Lola's bottle to be as bold and attention grabbing as possible, and he definitely succeeded - an over-the-top purple and red bloom bursts from the golden neck of the faceted violet bottle. It's hard to miss!
The Scent:
A warm floral scent, Lola's signature note is fuchsia peony, but begins with pink peppercorn, pear d'anju and ruby red grapefruit. Joining the fuchsia peony at its heart is rose and geranium, with ends on the base of vanilla, tonka bean and creamy musk.

You're looking for a seductive, grown up scent that starts off with a sweetness, but develops into a muskier, woody finish - great for going from day to night. Oh, and if you want a statement bottle on your dressing table!

Fronted by Dakota Fanning, Oh, Lola is the latest in Marc's line of fragrances; a fruity floral that plays up the flirty, playful aspects of the original Lola scent. Marc himself revealed, "This Lola is more of a Lolita than a Lola. Lola is more seductive; Oh, Lola is sensual, but she's sweeter."
The Bottle:
Similar to the design of Lola, Oh, Lola's bottle adds a youthful element by making the bottle and cap translucent and pink, to channel the heightened femininity of the scent. And of course, the touch of luxury is still there with the golden neck.
The Scent:
A sparkling, fruity floral, the scent opens with refreshing Effervesant Raspberry, Frais des Bois and Pear. Like Lola, Oh, Lola features Peony at its heart, but with Magnolia and Cyclamen accompanying it. Vanilla, Sandalwood and Tonka Bean follow on in the dry down, leaving a sensual base behind.
Buy if:
You're younger or you prefer a sweet perfume - the perfume opens up very fruity, before moving into the floral notes and settling on a strong vanilla finish.
