There are a few things I like more than a good red lip, and that's a FREE red lipstick. At the moment Special K have teamed up with Max Factor to offer a certain number of free Ruby Tuesday lipsticks to give away and we were lucky enough to snag hold of one.
The lipstick is rich and creamy to apply with a lovely hydrating texture that gave even colour that lasted through three cocktails and one night time hot chocolate (that's how we roll here).
The colour was very bright and had a nice warmth to it that really worked with my fair colouring. It was kiss proof (yay, but no details) and the tone was very complementary, meaning the colour could go from day to night easily. It's less bold than it looks, so you can really tone it down or layer it up as well!
I'm a big fan of this colour and I'm hard to please when it comes to the right red lip shade, so I'm happy to suggest that you consider this shade if you're thinking of becoming a scarlet lady.
One tip though - carry a hand mirror: red lipstick/veg on the teeth really shows when you're wearing this shade.
