We're no stranger to the Tria hair removal device here at Kiss and Makeup, as we gave it rather glowing reviews back in 2008 as were very happy with the results.
Well, it has been updated a little since then and we're pretty happy with all the changes. No longer a scary £695 you can now buy this for £349 and it uses laser technology rather than IPL to promote long term hair reduction.
The Tria now comes with a digital dislplay to show you the level of power you're using, and 5 settings to adjust it, and my favourite addition- a Skin sensor for safety.
The skin sensor is actually placed in the bottom of the handle, so you always have it on you- useful if you have tanned and don't know if you can use it anymore (temporary no go if you have a tan). You also must unlock the Tria by first doing a skin sensor test every time you use it- amazing they built this in.
Most people will find they can use this, though if you have white hair or black skin you may not be suitable (to do with the laser picking up the pigment).
You need to treat every 2 weeks, and to use shave the chosen area, place the nozzle over the skin and let it beep, then move on to the next place. As a rule it will take around 15 minutes to treat an area like the bikini, leave around 30-40 per leg.
Have you tried the Tria- let us know your thoughts!
