The red carpet of the 2012 Golden Globes is being trod this very second by A-listers in designer gowns - watch out tomorrow for all the beauty gossip, but we had to put up a picture of Zooey Deschanel's tuxedo nails because they are so damn cool!
The hipster actress took a typically hipster instagram picture of her black and white nail art designs, excitedly tweeting, "I am wearing a gown but my nails are wearing tuxedos!!!"
Even though I would expect a nail artist to have created these little pretties for such a big event, I can't help but suspect they have a DIY quality about them - although maybe her nail technician was just nervous! What do you guys think?
I haven't even seen her dress yet, but I am already impressed - can't wait to see what she paired them with!

Update: we've seen her dress, and we liked her nails better. But her make up is amazing, she's definitely working that upcoming statement eyelashes trend! Gorgeous.
