God forbid I ever have to get up and blow out my hair for work every day, because when I decide to blow out my hair it is a PROJECT. When a friend once said "oh do you mind if I blow dry my hair before we leave?" and was finished in 15 minutes I almost stopped being her friend. I'm actually now embarrassed to say how long it takes me. It depends on how long my hair is at the time, but I always have very thick hair that's at least shoulder length. I employ several salon techniques like sectioning off my hair and drying it in three sections, underneath, middle, front. And this is before I repeat the process for hair straightening.

SO. Anything that claims to improve the quality of ease of a home blow out is right up my alley. As you can see, D-TACH makes big animated claims about keeping you from looking like a cast extra on Welcome Back Kotter. The D-TACH system relies on a removable handle to transform a regular wide barrel brush into a big curler. The idea is you wrap your hair around the brush like you would normally, and then snap off the handle, leaving a curler in your hair. It has all the usual tourmaline and ion claims, as well.

The main problem I have with this is how long would this take? Do you just apply your makeup in between curling sections of your hair, because this would take me at least 10-15 curls I'm telling ya. Are you supposed to buy several of the brushes (they come in three sizes) in order to have more than one curler in your hair at at ime? I also know that these types of curlers just get stuck in my hair and are so difficult to get out that the process destroys and curl created. So. Probably not a product for me. But if you have thin or fine hair you'd probably have better luck.
