Not to be mean to the people who attended, but there was a lack of exciting female guests at the BAFTAs last night. Still, we spotted a small trend - old Hollywood style hair, done three ways. Fearne Cotton, who was presenting the red carpet show on E!, teamed her burnt orange Moschino gown with huge, fluffy, 1920's style waved hair (click here for a how to).
Melissa George worked the retro feel into a more modern look, with the front section of her hair curled, and the rest smoothed back and coiled into a bun. Loved her lipstick too - red would have been an obvious choice, but this fuchsia made it look current.

Emilia Fox worked the trend into her long hair, with loose marcel waves and a deep side parting.
