I hope Katy Perry has a good repairing hair masque, because her hair has been dyed so many times over the past few months it must be under about as much stress as the mid-divorce singer is - ghd have released another advert starring her to promote their newest tool, the ghd air hairdryer, and Katy's hair is pink again!
In the image, shot by David LaChappelle like the others, the singer breaks away from the theme they've had so far of embodying a different era in each advert (she's done 20s, 70s and 80s), and instead have gone with a complete fantasy style where Katy is a mermaid!
Instead of her hair lying perfectly smoothed like in the other campaigns, Katy's hair blows in the wind, a reference to the hairdryer which lies in a shell beside her. Of the urban-fairytale set, Katy said, "Dave LaChappelle made the set amazing. It was fun. I got to have purple hair which foreshadowed the real purple hair I had last fall."
