Despite her album only being released last week (and then immediately going to number one), The People are very polarized on Lana Del Rey - whatever her music, I'm becoming a bit obsessed with her style (although I am a bit dubious of her insistence that her bee-stung lips are natural).
Kind of shockingly, the overnight sensation has somehow landed the cover of the March 2012 issue of UK Vogue - so maybe Alexandra Shulman, its editor, is a bit obsessed too.
The Video Games singer shows off her signature style on the cover (which actually fits in well to the doll-like beauty trend big for spring/summer): exaggerated, full lashes framing her doe-eyes, dagger-like stiletto nails and my new obsession, her retro, perfectly curled, pin-up hair. I did wonder if I was alone with the hair thing, but I just watched this behind-the-scenes video of the shoot, and the editor seems to have made sure Lana's hair gets a starring role. I couldn't stop watching it swishing. Check it out below.
