We hung out in our favourite backstage area of London Fashion Week so far last night, the library in The Athenaeum, which played host to the TIGI team who were creating the hair for Kristian Aadnevik A/W12.
Backed by floor-to-ceiling books, TIGI's UK Creative Director Maria Kovacs told us about the look, which was an "expensive blow dry".
"Kristian Aadnevik's clothes are very rock chic, luxurious looking - we've done the last couple of season with him," Maria told us. "Normally we put extensions in to make the girls look really identical and mechical, but this time we wanted to go with more of an expensive blow dry look, rather then making everything really poker straight."

To do this TIGI used their Catwalk Collection Root Boost moose, blasted into the hair with cold air, to give little bit of hold, followed by their Weightless shine spray in the ends to provide some texture. A middle parting to added a slight rock feel. The idea was that as the girls walk it, the blow dried hair floats out behind them, moving like the fabric does.
Possibly the simplest hairstyle we've seen so far. "We just wanted nice, polished looking hair, because the clothes say so much, we wanted them to do the talking," explained Maria.

The hair was paired with rock chic grey smoky eyes, and bright dewy skin.
