nicki_minaj_mac_viva_glam_launch.jpgMAC picked a great time to launch their newest Viva Glam campaign - in the midst of New York Fashion Week, there were no shortage of guests (like Kelly Osbourne and model Coco Rocha) to walk the red carpet with this year's spokespeople Nicki Minaj and Ricky Martin.

As I'm sure you all know by now, every single bit of the profit from the sale of the MAC Viva Glam range go to the MAC Aids fund (which is unusual as most of the time brands only donate about 10% of the profit from their charity products), which this year includes Nicki's lipstick - a typically Barbie-esque bright yellow-pink with a satin finish - and a colourless Lip Conditioner for Ricky.

For the event Nicki was her usual subtle and inconspicuous self - carrying on the Barbie theme, she wore a platnium blonde wig, super-long false eyelashes on the outer corners of eyes (that kind of remind us of Taylor Momsen in The Grinch) and her candy pink lipstick.

Also can I just admit, that even though we all know he's gay now, I still totally fancy Ricky Martin. Check out the video below of the singers speaking about the campaign and be entranced by his sexy Latino-ness. Especially the bit at 2.00 when he's talking about Nicki. Phew. There's no escape.
