I haven't got a great track record with nail wraps - I can't put them on, and when I do they start peeling away within hours, which is very irritating. Plus the adhesive tends to destroy my nails. In short guys, I don't like them much.
But then! I went to the Coty summer press event and tried out the Sally Hansen Nail Effects Real Nail Polish Strips and now I am a complete convert.
They are, to clear up any confusion, actually made from nail varnish, just very thin and with a sticky backing. Really easy to apply, you just press the strip over your nail and pull it taut over the edge to make it fit. Seriously, can't emphasize how simple it is. I got them on Monday, and they're still in pretty good nick today [Friday] although they are wearing away a bit at the edge. You can put a topcoat over though, so they may have lasted longer if I had. And to remove them you just use nail polish remover like usual!
This style is called Kitty Kitty, and you can get it in May from sallyhansen.co.uk.
