We showed you Swarovski's first foray into the beauty market with their Aura by Swarovski fragrance last year - this year, they're expanding the line with a collection of six Aura by Swarovski lipsticks.
Keeping up with the brand's style, the lipsticks come in the same almost-ornamental packaging as the perfume: futuristic silver tubes each topped with a Swarovski Elements crystal which corresponds to the colour inside, which are Crystal Silk (beige), Crystal Lila Rose (mauve rose), Crystal Vintage Rose (powdery rose), Crystal Indian Pink (raspberry pink fuschia), Crystal Burgundy (reddish plum) and Crystal Light Red Siam, a true red which is the one we tried!
Each shade is enriched with pearl powder to give it shine, and the fine glitter you can see is actually micronized Swarovski crystal. Despite the milled crystal, the formula is very smooth and creamy, and really comfortable on lips. It had really good staying power too, and is very smudge resistant. That swatch on my arm will not budge.
At £23 each, the range will be available from June.
