We went to see Boots' upcoming summer collections yesterday, which was quite far away from our office (all the way over in the Barbican) but it was completely worth it because it took place in the amazing conservatory (the second biggest in London) - full of tropical plants and trees and swelteringly hot, just like being in a real rainforest! I imagine, I've never been in one.

Anyway, the products. One of the new ranges I saw was the new No7 Limited Edition collection for summer, Summer of Dreams. Developed by No7's Creative Consultant Lisa Eldridge, the range includes:
The Summer of Dreams Bronzer, which comes in a beautiful gold and silver compact. The powder itself is a light golden colour, with embossed swirls of shimmery gold and coral. Lisa suggests using a big brush to sweep it over cheeks, temples, nose, neck and decolletage ("everywhere the sun hits"). This'll hit Boots store on May 16th for £13.
The Summer of Dreams Glitter Top Coats, which come in gold and silver, and are clear polishes with a mix of tiny specks and larger discs of glitter, as you can see here over one of my own untidy nails (my nails are usually covered in patches of colours I've tested - the teal is a Pixi one).
They're a top coat, so are designed to go over a polish, but you can wear them alone too. In fact there's a perspex nail trend on the way, so they'd be perfect for that. They'll be out on 16th May at £8 each.
Next up, the Summer of Dreams Eye Crayons, a set of chunky eye pencils in metallic shades of bronze, green, blue and grey. Use these as an eyeliner to add a subtle pop of colour along with definition, or scribble over lids and blend with your finger for a hazy eyeshadow. The set of four are £13.
Last but not least are the Summer of Dreams Nourishing Lip Shine, which comes in pink and peach. They're enriched with liquorice so your lips are smooth and moisturised as well as given some nice colour (great for any festivals you've got coming up).
