There are so many serums on the market it's easy to get a little jaded when a new 'wonder' serum comes along, but this one is backed by Dr Weil, the man who has how own range of Origins skin products. Skincare meets science is his tagline (well it should be) and his new serum is designed to increase skin brightness.

To show us this Origins set up some booths showcasing how Origins appeals to all senses-smell, sound, etc, which was a cute way to showcase the new serum.

The serum is light to apply, coating the skin very gently, and is suitable for day and night (though wear an SPF in the day). It's designed to combat blemish marks, unevenness and discolouration and has a nice feel to it- slightly tacky, non oily and very absorbent.
The serum works in a twofold manner- it helps keep irritation away so your skin doesn't get traumatized, and it also works on existing conditions helping them be less visible.

This is due to the Rosa Roxburghil complex they use, which helps take away the stimulus for melanin production in the skin (where you'd get brown spots, etc).

I've been using the Dr Andrew Weil Mega-Bright Skin tone correcting serum for some time now and have noticed that my skin does look more revitalized during the day. I wake with more dewiness to my cheeks and I like how the smell of it is inoffensive (I wasn't a fan of the Mega Mushroom range).

I had some small breakouts to begin with, but these have now stopped happening and my complexion looks brighter and more luminous. I'm constantly mistaken for younger than I am, and I think it's partly down to this serum (or people just sucking up to me).
