Most of us have colored hair these days, so most brands have a shampoo and conditioner for colored hair. But Fekkai isn't most brands. The Technician Color Care Collection includes, yes, a shampoo and conditioner, a Rapid Results Moisture Mask, an Anti-Fade Topcoat and the new Illuminating Cream. I'm sure Fekkai wants to include a finishing cream in all their collections after the runaway success of their Brilliant Glossing Cream.
I received a sample of the shampoo and 3-Minute Mask in the mail from Target and I thought I'd review them here. I actually tried to purchase a few other Fekkai products in store (the samples came with a coupon!) but the store was out of the Glossing Cream.
The collection features the Triple Color Protection Complex to help prevent color from fading and guard against UV rays. The shampoo smells wonderful, as you'd expect, and contains galanga root, cultivated in South East Asia and known for its ability to naturally shield UV. It works to target damaged hair and seal the cuticle with a conditioning layer.
The Mask is fairly light and coats hair in humectants and extracts to revive just-colored condition and silkiness. My hair definitely felt softer, and my blonde highlights were bright. I was hoping for a bit more conditioning and repair, but that might come with regular use.
