Kate Middleton doesn't change her hairstyle that often - although why should she, with possibly the best hair in the world - so when she does it always makes a big change.
Usually sporting an expensive-looking blow dry, the Duchess of Cambridge's special occasion hairstyles are along the same half up-half down style she wore for her wedding, and yesterday at a launch for the IWM Foundation's First World War Centenary Campaign at the Imperial War Museum in London was no exception.

The top half of Kate's hair was pulled back and twisted into coils that were then pinned to the back of the head, falling into glossy ringlets towards the tips. Some volume added at the crown helped to give it more body and substance. This style was actually quite similar to the one Kate wore during the tour of Canada she and Prince William took last year.
Her make up was also the same kind of thing we've learnt to expect from the Duchess: smoky eyes and pink cheeks.
