Despite the horrendous rain this week (seriously, the weather was nice in March, what's that about?) I was feeling springlike today, so gracing Nails of the Week is one of Chanel's Spring/Summer shades - May.
A pale, creamy pink, May instantly made me think of strawberry milkshake. In fact it makes me think of strawberry milkshake every time I look at my nails, which is slightly irritating. I'm not really a fan of pink on nails (it makes me think of Barbie) but its neutral undertones make the colour really sophisticated chic-looking.
As usual, consistency with Chanel Les Vernis is excellent: just the right amount of fluidity without being watery and thin, and it gives decent coverage with one coat, but perfect with two.
