It's no secret how much we love philosophy - their amazing bath and bodycare products are the main reason I look forward to showers and probably the only reason I can ever be bothered to moisturise (it really bores me). One thing I've never looked into much is their skincare line, although it was actually where the brand first started and as I've discovered they have a great range, with some really exciting products.
My epiphany came earlier this week at an event recapping the brand, so I decided to introduce you to some of the products that stood out to me from the skincare range that you might not be aware of. One of these were the miraculous anti-ageing retinoid pads - a part of their great miracle worker line (a promising name to say the least) - which comes with a pot of pads and a bottle of oil which you pour onto them. Which I find really fun for some reason... Obviously we all know by now just how effective retinoids are for anti-ageing, but these feature hpr next-generation retinoid technology which keeps all its skin rejuvenation properties, but with less of the irritation usually experienced with them. Win. You get results relatively fast too - after just eight weeks you're expected to see significant improvement in the appearance of wrinkles and pore size. As they were philosophy's best selling product of the year when they launched in 2010, it's pretty promising.

They've combined the power of this retinol treatment with their miraculous all-over brightener and dark spot corrector which together form the miracle worker dark spot correcting system (£55), improving the appearance of everything from dark spots, fine lines and sun damage, to post-acne scarring, while still managing to be gentle enough for sensitive skin - definitely for you if you've been looking for a way to revamp your complexion, but are worried about harsh chemicals.
The last one I love is the turbo booster c powder (£30), a 99.8% topical vitamin c powder that you can mix into your moisturiser to charge it up with antioxidants - such a great idea. It'll help to even out skin tone, brighten the skin and fade discolouration, plus protect skin against environmental attack.
Also while having a look at their website, I just noticed there's free delivery on all orders till Monday (23rd April) so it's a great time to give these a try! Oh and also at the launch? A bathtub full of shower gel. Amazing. Check it out below - we had to show you!
