BioEffect EGF serum is a product that regularly gets rave write ups on Kiss and Makeup, and I was intrigued to see how the new BioEffect EGF Daytime Cream would respond to my cream. It includes the same high impact EGF (Epidermal Growth Factor) element to help nourish the skin and work against signs of ageing, but this time it's packed in a cream formulation rather than a serum.

To start with; the bad news. There is no SPF in this daytime cream,so you'll need to layer up. I was speaking to the creators and they said they hope to have one with SPF soon- they just needed to see how EGF would work suspended in a cream base first.

The cream feels really light to the touch and sinks in smoothly. The face feel fresh and soft after use and I love how it's feather light and absorbs super quickly- just what I need when I'm in a rush in the morning. There's no reason not to use their serum day and night, but if you're used to applying creams you may find you miss the sensation.

Paraben free, this cream is very gentle and shouldn't cause any irritation or redness. I really liked how it felt when I was wearing it and it was a great base for my foundation. It's hard to ascertain any major differences to my skin (especially with my routine) but over a few weeks I did feel that I was looking healthier and had more of a natural glow sans foundation. Plus, I got carded at the bar (bonus!).
