I've been enjoying Jessie J lately - usually her make up choices are a bit much (like a drag queen) for me, but she's been looking quite good lately. The singer was at the amfAR Cinema Against Aids gala at Cannes yesterday - a bit like when Lana Del Rey turned up earlier this week, we wondered what on earth she was doing there, but it turned out she'd been asked to perform.
For her appearance at the Film Festival, Jessie J decided to go for lipstick to match her dress, picking a deep purple toned red that also featured on her purple and black leopard print Louis Heal gown. She paired her lips with huge lashes (fake, natch). We love her hair too - her signature sleek black bob can sometimes be a bit harsh, and the way she's put in some loose curls to give it a tousled effect.
Rose McGowan was also a fan of the matching lipstick thing: she wore a matte baby pink colour on her lips that went with her huge pink Atelier Versace gown. Since she was in France, Rose made sure she looked the part with French-style feline flicked eyeliner and lightly blushed cheeks. Lovely look. Thoughts?
