I haven't used an electric razor since my Mother allowed me to use a Venus razor-with REAL blades- and I discovered what a close shave I could get, something that had never happened with an electric model. This was over ten years ago, and electric lady shavers have changed pretty dramatically.
I've been testing out the Lady ROTO shave and have been pretty impressed with how it works. It's a water resistant electric shaver that's ergonomically designed with a pleasing rubberized grip and a waterproof compartment for the batteries.
I found it easy to put together, and liked the fact that two batteries and a replacement razor head come supplied in the box with this. It puts the Venus 5 blades to shame, as this actually features 9 rotating blades, that revolve at 30 revolutions per second!
The design means that you can shave from all angles, and it doesn't catch on the backs of your leg, and they have even added spiral protection windings to reduce the likelihood of nicks. The Emjoi Lady Shave makes a really light buzzing sound and they create a really close shave. I used this in the bath and found it very easy to do my legs and rinse the razor at the same time. It works fine with all shower gels and is really just like shaving- but easier. The electronic part of it does all the work for you and the blades whizz around really quickly, so you just softly pull it over the skin and voila, you're smooth.
I'm not sure how often you need to change the razor heads, but as they have 9 blades on them, I'm guessing less often than traditional razors? My one issue with this would be that when using it with wet hands it can be a little tricky to turn it on, as the button for on needs to be depressed and the grooves are hard to press with wet hands.
I'm very happy with how smooth this makes my legs, and it's convenient that it's so waterproof. I'd like to see it in other colours than pink, but other than that it gets thumbs up.
