The Fifi Awards took place in New York on Monday, which if you're unaware is the 'Oscars' of the fragrance industry, where one of the attendees was Nicole Richie.
I was a bit confused as to why she was there too, but it dawned on me that it was probably to do with her own upcoming fragrance, announced last October. She was also there to present the Men's and Women's Nouveau Niche award, which went to Tom Ford Beauty for its unisex fragrance, Jasmin Rouge.
Anyway, whatever she was doing there, she was looking, for want of a better word, fine.
Nicole went for her usual retro vibe, channelling a sixties girlband siren with her hair piled in a giant updo high on her head, possibly achieved by pulling her hair (and no doubt some extensions) into a ponytail, pushing that into a bun and then wrapping the end around it.
Like any perfect package, her make up complimented the style, with diva-style gold and black smokey eyeshadow, black liner, and killer lashes. Beautiful.
Sadly Justin Bieber was not in attendance, despite being named Celebrity of the Year. :(
