Okay, so the name facewalk needs a bit of work, but nonetheless, last week we attended our first official catwalk show dedicated to all things beauty. QVC might not be the first place that springs to mind when it comes to make-up, but to show off their huuge (it really is) range of beauty brands and products, they commissioned the make-up only runway show in celebration of its June beauty month.

The dimly spotlight lit catwalk played host to a variety of looks from nude and naturals, vampy classics and extreme makeup looks, whilst the clothes were simply plain for a blank canvas. Pretty cool concept we think! The more creative designs were amongst our favourites where the make-up was used in a more theatrical way, we especially liked the Garden of Eden feel look named flower power as well as the dark and mystical spacey look.

Are we seeing the boarders being crossed between art and make-up here? The show stopping creations were the work of leading makeup artist Isamaya Ffrench all using products available at QVC, including Jemma Kidd, Bobbi Brown and bareMinerals.

Check out the video from the show as well as some of the images of the looks below.
