After Karl Lagerfeld's collection for Sephora, it looks like the designer has gotten a taste for guest designing make up: it's just been announced that he'll be producing a collection for shu uemura!
Karl actually has a long history with shu uemura, but it's not that he's a particulary big fan of their cleansing oil (well that we know of) but he's been employing shu's colour collections to create his famous illustrations - which feature on Chanel invitations and press kits - for years! According to Karl, he uses the make up "because other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colours." Fair.
Apparently the collection, which is due for release in November 2012 will evoke Karl's "iconic, ironic style," as Pier Paolo Righi, president of Karl Lagerfeld, told WWD.
We really cannot wait.
