Katy Perry showed off the latest stage in the evolution of her hair at the MuchMusic awards this weekend.
The singer has now streaked her purple hair with black, and to be honest, I don't like it. It looks like a tacky Halloween wig. I can only hope that this step is a precursor to her returning to the black hair colour we all know and remember fondly from her I Kissed A Girl days.
Though she changes up her hair colour more then I change skincare regimes (a lot) Katy usually sticks to one style for her make up, so it was nice to see a little change in it this time. Her eyes were made up almost like usual - huge fake eyelashes - a slick of gold eyeliner ran across her lower lashline. Pretty!
On the red carpet on the way into the ceremony, Katy wore her hair straight with some curls at the end, but she livened up the style considerably for her performance (where she turned into a butterfly). The singer's hair was pulled tightly back into a ponytail on top of her head, and then her hair (and a lot of extensions) were woven round like a rope into a thick, long twist that fell past her hips. Bet that was heavy.
Oh and she swapped her ying-yang nail art for some flowers.
