I was a bit skeptical of a concealer called No Concealer Concealer that claimed to deliver "flawless coverage with one universal shade." I usually don't trust universal shades. But I am a skeptic no longer. Perricone MD's No Concealer Concealer is a spin-off of the brand's top-selling product line No Foundation Foundation designed to combat discoloration, dark circles and imperfections. It gets its "no concealer" moniker from the lightweight formula, and yet it still provides SPF 35 coverage.
I decided to try this product at the height of my need, around 4:30 a.m. on a night I hadn't gone to sleep and wasn't wearing any other makeup. I think I even still had some of the previous day's eye makeup on. The product really delivered on promises to provide "instantly brighter, more awakened looking eyes. My whole face looked less... dead.
This seems like a product to cross generations, even though it's billed as anti-aging. A hard-partying 20 something (or perhaps a beauty editor working 20 hour days during fashion week?) would love it as much as a sleep-deprived mother of young children. Since I have very pale skin, I would suggest darker skin tones perhaps give it a try in store before making the big purchase, it is £37.00. But honestly I found a teeny bit of product, less than a single pump, blended between my ring fingers as suggested provided complete coverage for both eyes, including both dark circles and lid discoloration. It will go a long way.
