The Teen Choice awards are always quite a cool, casual affair: you never expect to see full on old Hollywood make up or elaborate updos, and this years ceremony was no different.
Because it's a much younger award show, the beauty is way more casual. It's perfect for Kristen Stewart - who is basically Queen of the Teen Choice awards, the cast of Twilight being the reigning family of course, with Robert Pattinson as their king - who seems to hate doing her hair at the best of times.
Actually that's not really fair - the actress did actually put in a little more effort then usual. Most of her unkempt, I-just-woke-up hair was pulled back to one side, and a section behind her ear was plaited. Not really feeling it (its a bit like she just got bored and played with her hair in the limo on the way there) to be honest, but still at least she tried. I guess. Loving her eyeshadow though - kind of like a gunmetal-ly navy?
Lea Michele and Nina Dobrev also went for casual tousled looks: Vampire Diaries actress and honoured girlfriend of 'Hot' Ian Somerhalder Nina wore her hair mostly straight with some shape in the ends, and like Kristen added some plaits, in a boho crown style. Glee star Lea meanwhile went for a casual side parting, with some mussed up waves. What do you think of their dressed down look?
