I think we can safely say that even though it is allegedly summer, there is little to no sun, and it doesn't look like there will be in the near future. So it is very unlikely that any of us (well the ones who won't be leaving the country to chase the sun) are going to go into September looking naturally glowing.
Luckily we have at our hands a whole world of self tanners that will create a bronzed glow even if the season isn't doing its job. People often try a self tan and then find it doesn't settle evenly, or fades fast but what you should remember is that just like foundation, the product needs a good base to live to its true potential. This doesn't just mean exfoliation but also keeping your skin moisturised and healthy.
