Blake Lively has friends in all kinds of high places - first getting a pair of Louboutins named after her, and now a contract for a huge perfume campaign under her belt - the actress is currently starring in a perfectly cast role as the face of Gucci's new perfume, Gucci Premiere.

The advert for the campaign has just been released - although as they tend to go nowadays they've called it a 'short film' - shot by directer Nicolas Winding Refn, who also directed Drive - there's definitely some of the Ryan Gosling-fronted movie in the wide-shot scenes of the cityscape through the window.

The whole thing is totally Gucci: glamourous, Hollywood and gold to go with the fragrance, inspired by the Gucci Premiere dress line and featuring top notes of bergamot and orange blossom, a heart of white flowers and musk, and a base cocktail of leather and wood.

Gucci creative director Frida Giannini said of the decision to cast Blake, "Although she's young, she's also very determined, and I liked this spirit....She knows how to be a diva in the right sense, with an aspirational glamour."

The commercial is actually really beautiful - gorgeous shots of the city. Watch it above.
