Last week I had a great day at the office. Well I say office but actually Collection took me out of it and to a field to do a bit of extreme sports to test their new Fix Me Up Long Lasting Make-Up Fixer and Primed & Ready Smoothing Make up Primer.
For those of you who've never tried it, lots of girls are known to spray hairspray over their make up to set it for a night out - it works but it's not pleasant and not very good for you either. This is basically a safer, nicer version of that - and it smells much better too - a fine, weightless mist that you spritz over your face that gives you a luminous finish and keeps your make up where you put it all night. It's also a massive bargain at £5.99.
To make it a perfect set, Collection have also released the Primed & Ready Smoothing Make up Primer (£5.99), to give you a perfect, smooth base for your make up (and subsequently your fixer).
We put the products to the test with some Zorbing, where you basically get into a big padded ball and then they chuck you down a hill. It was brilliant. But rough. Thankfully though the Fixer did its job and three hours later my make up was exactly the way it had been on arrival (well until we did hydro-zorbing where they pour water into the ball with you. The fixer didn't fair so well on this - serious panda eyes, although my foundation didn't move - but then you're unlikely to have a bucket of water thrown over you on a night out. I hope.
